Springtime Snow

Never leave home, if you live in Dunedin, without your winter gear, no matter what time of the year...

Kittyhawk (named for a cat and a bird!) seems to be watching with bemusement.

That's why the chains stay in the boot until December.

You might have red snow soon - there's a dust storm in Sydney happening right now & it's coming your way. Last night I muttered "red sky at night, shepherd's delight/red sky in morning, shepherd's warning" and woke to a red haze. Oddly, I also thought "it feels like earthquake weather" & read that Melbourne had some tremors. Dunedin snow would be much appreciated over here - send it on its way please.

lmrb ~ yes I had a text from a friend in Sydney to say how awful the dust is. We expect to have spectacular sunsets in a day or so... In South Korea in spring there is a terrible season of "yellow dust" blowing across from China. I wouldn't want to go through that again.

Vanda ~ Why not just leave the chains there - they might come in handy for one of your murder plots ;-)
