Quarantine

Happy Montana Poetry Day from behind the swine flu barricades!

I'm being shored up with tamiflu, paracetamol, and my favourite invalid fortifiers, lemon barley water and cream of chicken soup. Doing some sporadic reading despite the intermittent fevers.

SO glad this thing hasn't mutated yet...

Take care out there, PC. Add a tot of whisky to the lemon barley. You'll sleep like a babe. L, C

Excellent advice Claire, and I intend to take it soon. But I haven't had any trouble sleeping - I have had trouble staying awake! It's like all my late nights have caught up.

Have fun with the poetry tonight X

Get well soon. Those books will help. I just read something of Martin Edmond's - one of the 4 Winds essays 'The Ghost who Writes' - you've got to have your wits about you to read him! Waimarino County sounds lovely.

It's amazing what chicken soup can do.

I hope you've got an adequate reading pile. If not, could call out for an emergency book parcel.

Many thanks folks. I think the worst is over now.

I have discovered a secret for reading Martin Edmond, Mary, I think it helps to be a little feverish and delirious ;-)
