Observation #1: The factory has long since closed down. It's a safe bet that whatever was manufactured there now comes in more cheaply as an import from some place that didn't have protective labour laws. The square anonymous structure sports only a couple of blank staring windows to relieve the monotony of otherwise featureless block walls. Recently the property has been spruced up and the building has been repainted in the bland livery of the Christian fundamentalist brand. A stark large sans serif sign proclaims: CHRISTIAN CHURCH.
Observation #2: The little village church has long since been deconsecrated. The picturesque building now makes a quaint setting for the sale of home-made crafts.
