First we take Wellington

Then we take Auckland.

Apparently, Leonard didn't like to concede the word "comrades" to the communists, so he thought he'd "take Berlin" ... y'know, being the frontline city of the Cold War an' all.

Still, I remember thinking at the time that maybe a more promising approach to undermining Communist cities would be to simply change the 's' in Moscow to an 'o'. After all, as a placename for a Cold War capital, I felt confident that Moocow just wouldn't carry the same er, gravitas.

But do you think I could get anyone to consider my proposal ...?

Well, of course not.

I shouldn't imagine you'd have any more luck with the name Moocow in China...
